My bed & I had some make-up sleep time to take care of this morning.  All morning in fact.  Then it was running errands and buying milk since no one wanted to use the stuff that was expired & smelled funny.  Picky, picky, picky.

5-6 am; 76o with 90% humidity.  No sprinklers, but I was dripping wet without them by the time I was done. 

I was slow today.  Not intentionally.  Sometimes I start out slow for the first mile, then I can pick it up.  Not today.  Every mile but the last was over 10.  It felt good to be out running again after 5 days off, but I was disappointed my pace was so slow. 

Didn't see anything dead, but I did see an awesome old shoe in the middle of the road.  Just one, but with a nice leather upper.

Hot, humid, sweaty six.  Pace was 24 seconds faster than Thursday, and I was happy I could keep the miles under 10 min, but it was a tough six miles.

I was out early, so I did get to see an awesome sunrise. The pix is somewhere in my ipod.  And my ipod is somewhere in this house.
