Another plan B day. Wanted to do elliptical & then a shred. I had to set up the elliptical because it'd been folded up when MR cleaned the garage a couple weeks ago. I don't know what he did to it, but it's not working.

So I did p90x plyo instead. I kept wondering if it was a good idea or not, because I don't want my legs too sore for my long run tomorrow. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I am mightily impressed with your plan Bs. Or is it plans B?

I'm always a little gun shy on my Friday workouts for those same reasons. Sorry about the elliptical - I'd be mad as a wet hen!

QP, good luck tomorrow, yes, fridays are always tricky with a long run or race the next day. My approach is a little different, ususally cross train spinning a couple of hours of friday. I have not had good luck with just resting friday.

I hope that elliptical gets fixed. I haven't tried the P90X. Is it intense?

From The Quiet Pirate on Mon, Mar 14, 2011 at 10:07:41 from 152.26.59.252

Terri- I think the p90x is intense. The plyometrics is the hardest one I've done so far. It's the "mother" of all workouts.

Carolyn- I think I'll call them my B plans, then I don't have to figure it out!

RAD- I've often wondered if "mad as a wet hen" really is as bad as it sounds. I think one day I'll put the chicken in the sprinkler and see just what a wet hen really looks like.

Brent- my calves were sore Saturday, but overall, I think it was okay. Doing something, even just a little is usually always better than doing nothing.
