I just let myself sleep this morning.  Feeling not so sick to my stomach, just no energy.  I've got a 5k I want to rock on Saturday, so I'm saving my energy to get better....at least that's the excuse MR told me I had.  He tucked me back in bed when he left and I told myself, "I'll get up after he leaves."  The next thing I knew, it was 6:30 and my alarm radio had been going off for 10 minutes before I even woke up.  I'm claiming that I needed the extra sleep!!

Got to work, and the wonderful Donut fairy brought donuts today.  I have no strength to resist donuts... so I had a raspberry filled jelly donut.  Then I remembered that today is registration for the Krispy Kreme Challenge!!  It's Feb 4th in Raleigh if anyone needs an excuse to visit :-)   http://www.krispykremechallenge.com/register

I'm bringing a backpack for my donuts this year. 

2 miles after school (30 minutes) in new shoes.  I walked for 1+ miles, ran 1/2 mile, then walked the rest.

RAD- the sleep was marvelous- I won't lie. The donut was okay, but not a sprinkle maple bar.

Chad- I will NEVER eat 10 or 12 donuts again in one day. I'm stashing them in a big ziplock bag and taking them home in my backpack!

I'd rather train for the root beer float competition. Glazed donuts get cold really fast in February, and the cold icy glazing coating my mouth is a nightmare I'll never recover from.

You should come & run it. Myrtle Beach is 2 weeks after, and it's a nice flat course too!!

It's no Bahamas, but it's usually warmer than Utah in February.
