Lovely labor day run. Nice to sleep in and have the weather still be nice...at least until the last mile when the cool, moist air saw the sun and heated up like a sauna. But it was just the last mile.

MR brought the water & rode the bike. We did P-town run- saw a squirrel with a smashed head and lots of flies, but didn't want to stop my momentum and take a photo.

Avg pace was just under 9:50. Not really fast, but I was pleased that I was able to pull the last mile at a 8:58.

So long, summer. See you next year!

MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark, all that sweet green icing flowing down. Someone left the cake out in the rain. I don't think that I can take it, because it took so long to bake it, and I'll never have that recipe again.
