Hot and humid. After 4 miles, I felt like I was running in a sauna. My pace slowed down, and I had to take a couple walk breaks to cool off. The occasional shade and breeze was the only thing that saved me. Considering the heat, humidity, my lack of running this week, and still not 100% back from the cold, I'm pretty happy with my run. We had lots of fun things to look at. Baby horses Baby cows And decay dog. He was in an area where there weren't any houses. Wonder how he got all the way out there. From the look of his collar, he belonged to someone. :-(
In the afternoon, we were lucky enough to go to the National Hollerin' Contest. So much fun and so many memories. There will be video posted when I can figure out how to share it. All I can say is "Whhhhhooooooooooo-eeeeeeeeeeee."
