What a slow run.  It took me 4 miles to feel warmed up.  My legs were tired too.

My paces were all over 10mm.  MR rode the bike along side me.  Didn't see any other runners out today, but it was back down in the low 30's so maybe they were smart & stayed indoors.

Signed up for a 5k next Saturday.  Rumble on the Lumbee...race entry gets you free admission to the chili cookoff afterwards.  I'm starting to see a theme here...running & food.  2 of my most favorite hobbies :-)

I think as long as I can get my legs back from being sore from the marathon that I might do well.  It's a fine line between recovery and being lazy.

Call it recovery, not lazy.

I'm sorry, but the low 30s requires staying indoors? That sounds balmy to me. Maybe the humidity makes a difference.

QP - wow, when you finish you 12 bowls of chili - you may set the biggest PR ever, with fartlek power. How is the knee? Nice recovery run today.

I'm with Carolyn, it's recovery! Did you read the article in RW about the fat guy...well, former fat guy? I think he got it spot on!

Carolyn- You're right- I have no right to complain about the 30's. I'm a pansy. A little bit warmer pansy, but still a pansy.

Brent- I'm going to blow the competition away! Literally! Knee is feeling good, but I'm being extra cautious and keeping miles low. Seems to take a little longer to get it warmed up at the start of a run too. Thanks for asking.

RAD- That plumpkin story was so real that it scared me. And I thought only women had issues like that. It's nice to be a freak with company!!
