Up at 2:40 this morning & couldn't sleep.  Finally decided to just go out and run, hoping I could sleep after I got done heaving my demons by the roadside.  So I went out running at 3:30.  It was 36o outside, and not too windy...pretty nice weather for a 3:30 am run.

I had a 5 mile w/3 tempo mile run on the agena.  I did that, and still needed to run a while more, so I added another loop on the end.  I was finished and going in the house about the same time I am usually leaving for my run.  I showered and laid back in bed.  After 30 minutes of listening to Mr. breathe, he got up and left for work, and I was able to fall back asleep for another 25 minutes until it was time to get up and have breakfast with mini-me.

I'm not feeling really tired yet.  Pepsi Max is good stuff :-)

Average pace was 8:50.  I can't remember all the times.  I know the first was 10:06 and the last was 7:57.

Holy cow, woman! I can't believe you went out running in the middle of the night. One of these days I'll have to go out at 4:30 and call it morning, but I still think 3:30 is the middle of the night.

If I did what you did, I would be crashing right about now. In fact, I am crashing right about now and I didn't run at 3:30 am.

Carolyn,

It's 5 pm & you can consider me crashed. If I were a video game creature, I would be the crashed-quietpirateacoot. I'm sitting on the couch waiting for a reasonable bedtime to come around. I desperately want a nap, but I think at this point in the day, it would set me up for bedtime failure.

And I'm waiting for the bowling pirate to call for his ride home from school. Can you believe we have a bowling team, but not a swim team?

So sorry the night allows running, but no sleep. When you're up that early, call - I'm probably up that late :)

Nice paces on the run, demons are GREAT inspirations for quick paces. Hope you are sound asleep now.

Speaking of pirates and kings: "I do not envy the headache you will have when you awake, but in the meantime - sleep well and dream of large women!" :)

RAD- As you wish.

I was asleep by 9:15. Long day.

Brent- I am always amused with your blog and your comments. You're like an extra gold coin in my treasure chest...it makes me smile. And to top it all off, you're a Naval treasure...gem of the sea...a Pearl!

Anybody want a peanut?????
