Someone turned off my alarm.  It wasn't me.  MR said it wasn't him, although he did admit to touching it yesterday.  So it must have been the cat or the chicken.

Either way, I got 1.5 extra hours of sleep.  Only had enough time for a 20 min shred video.  I thought of Carolyn while I was doing it.  It is a good quick indoor workout.

I'll have to do my Road Kill Run training after work.  Speed work!!  Can't wait.

PM run: 1 mile warm up, 1 mile @ 7:58, .5 cool down, 1 mile at 8:06, .5 cool down, 1 mile at 7:57, 1 mile cool down.  avg pace was 8:44.  Pretty happy with it.  The first speed mile felt tough, but towards the end, I was feeling really great.  Could have gone another round or two.

Carolyn, On the contrary. I thought of how you would always run AND do the shred when you were traiing.

The shred alone kicked my trash today.

I must say, that shred DOES kick it! A VERY good workout - not like a run, but when you've only got 20 min I think I'd opt for it rather than a short run. Darn chicken needs to learn how to keep her talons to herself and not mess with your clock!

RAD- somedays, you have to be grateful the chicken messed with the alarm clock & enjoy the extra sleep. This was certainly one of those days.
