Recovery run.  left the garmin on the charger & just went out to enjoy my SNOWGLOBE RUN!  Yeah!!!   We had a 3 hour delay, and there wasn't even enough snow on the ground to know that it was snowing.  So I got to sleep in 2 hours and run in the daylight, with the snow.  It was fabulous :-)

MR went out with me.  Found out yesterday he has bone spurs on his heel. :-(

He's going to get an orthotic insert/cushion for his shoes, but didn't have it yet.  Made it a tough run for him.  He started running in the VFFs 3 months ago and he's wondering if they're the cause of the bone spurs.  I hope not, because he really likes the shoes.

We went treasure hunting too, and found 5 more treasures and...(drumroll please)...as we were running, a shotgun shell casing rolled out from under the tire of a truck that drove by and landed right in front of me!  So a bonus treasure to  boot!  What a great morning for a run!!!

6 miles with bone spurs honestly sounds like H$%%!! I hope the inserts work, and that it doesn't take 6 months to get them. Nice job on the miles this week and the Booty to boot! :)

Does he have like plantar fasciitis bone spurs? Towel gathers with the toes and calf raises up to the toes (no weight) are AMAZING for that. Apparently, there is little blood supply to that area of the fascia. had them some time ago adn made the mistake of icing before I went to bed,, then woke up to great terror pain. My physio explianed that I needed ot have sandals to get into right from the bed and throughout the day do towel gathers and calf raises (start with set of 10 and work upwards to sets of 30 to increase the healing blood into the affected area...) the heek cup inserts gave me some relief, but did not cure...

Sounds like an amazing run!
