Happy Saint Andrew's Day!

Felt better after getting some sleep last night.  I felt like I had enough energy to either run, or have enough energy to be productive at work all day.  Of course I chose running ;-)

I was slow, 10:01 avg pace.  I wondered a couple times if I was going to have to stop and hurl, but I'm happy to announce a hurl-free run this morning.

Legs are a little sore from the new shoes yesterday, but not unbearable.  The girl I was running/walking with said it looked like I was running on the outsides of my feet.  Is this normal with vibrams or am I doing something else wrong??? The outsides of my calves/legs are more sore than the backs.

Sounds like it's the opposite of pronation - supination. Same thing, just different 'roll' of the ankle. I wear out the outsides of my shoes first so I do this as well. It is really evident in my walking shoes. Running shoes that support pronators do the same for supinators. Just makes the foot more neutral. May take a little while extra to adjust to the shoes, but on this I have little advice/knowledge. Sorry.

Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the morning hurl-free :) I need to go to bed tonight so I can feel better in the morning.

I have to wear support shoes because I roll in on my ankles, so I can't figure out how I ended up rolling out.

I need to video myself running to see what kind of train wreck I have turned into.

Going to bed sounds divine.

Brent- I don't know a lot about chi style running. I like the breathing techniques, but I'm not familliar with much else about it. I just want to strengthen my feet and be a better, stronger runner.
