Ah, the extra sleep in the morning is marvelous- I can't deny it.

I was going to try a short run.  I thought 2 miles would be a good starting point.  Guess  jumped the gun a little because after 1/2 a mile, soreness was creeping in on those places I'm prone to injure.  I stopped at a mile and walked the other one. Just not worth pushing it right now.  I've got 6 weeks till OBX, and I'm going to get back to training as soon as my body is ready.

I'm just not sure when that is.  What's a good "recovery" time to let muscles heal?

I think I'll stick with the elliptical tomorrow.  Just put in the same time that I'd put in if I were going to be running.  Is that okay?

Lots of questions...any help/suggestions are appreciated.

I don't know how to recover from such an amazing feat of a 12 hour run, but they usually say give yourself 1 day/mile. I'm sure in a couple weeks at least your legs will be feeling better and ready to get back to 'normal' training. But do watch those injury prone areas!
