A little warmer & a little later today so I caught a fabulous sunrise!  The trees are getting ready to explode with blossoms & the daffodils are all up with the buds prepped to open.  I am so glad spring is coming!

MR went running with me & wore his VFFs.  Less heel pain with them than the running shoes.  We ran 4 miles.  paces were (around) 10, 10, 9, 8:30.  The last .09 we raced and I had a 6:43 for my pace.  No way I'd be able to run that fast much longer than I did, but it's cool to have a fast pace somewhere on my blog :-)

I noticed when he was racing me, his turnover was at least 2x as fast as mine.  He looked like the roadrunner.  It made me laugh because it was comical, but it really seemed to work (he beat me) with speed.  Something to think about for my speed workouts in the future.

We had a short little dance-off later in the day and I actually won 2 of the songs!  I'm not singing the "comeback kid" song yet, but I did feel fantastic when I finally beat him!

I'm impressed that you have to get up later in order to see the sunrise. I used to be that dedicated.

Apparently quick turnover is where it's at.

Congratulations on the dance off.

Quick turnover, eh? sounds like the taller you are the harder it would be...so probably something I should be doing too.

Nice work on that dance off - his 'hands only' style is no match for the real thing!

Oh, how I love spring and wish it were here in Utah....preparing for another snow driven long run tomorrow.
