3 Words: Krispy Kreme Challenge

It's featured in the back of the newest Runner's World magazine.   And just so you know, I've already been registered for weeks.  It is ON this year!!!

I even had a dream about the race last night.  I was with RAD and Allie & we ran to the donut stop point, and they sat and watched in horror & amazement while I managed to eat all 12 donuts.  Then we all headed back, only I couldn't keep up with them, and I got seriously nauseated and lost my way back.....    I was trying to run around the city looking for the finish line.

It was still a good dream, because it's the only time I've eaten donuts and not felt guilty about it.  The ones in my dream were good too....chocolate iced donuts & glazed ones....mmmmm....nom, nom, nom, nom.

It would fun if RAD & Allie could come out for the race, but when Allie said she wanted to do more "out of state" races, I don't think this is what she had in mind.

Krazy QP and donuts, sounds fun if you don't barf - suger high beyond high - do you get all the diet coke you can drink with the Krazy donuts.

Stay Kool, B of BS rools out

I wish I could come to the challenge! I don't think I would watch in horror and amazement though...I think I'd probably out eat you! :) Oh, and if those doughnuts had sprinkles on them - THAT is pure heaven!

Do you have to do a dozen at each point? I thought it was a 10K with 1/2 a dozen at the 5K point and 1/2 a dozen at the finish?

Brent- they say the road is lined with grey buckets for barfing. But if you hurl, you can't be a challenger.

There are lesser categories for people who just want to run and have one or two donuts, but I'm in it for the whole challenge. Gotta do it once....or go down hurling trying.

RAD- I'm pretty sure they're just glazed. Only the donuts in my dream were chocolate. I was going to bring some water to help wash them down, but thanks to Brent, maybe I'll be bringing diet coke instead :-)

Guess I should have read your blog before calling you about the article. Sorry about that!
