With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams...

Ran with Wyatt for 5.34 and then went home and ran with MR for 3.05.  Car ride for the rest of the day on our way to see Buccaneer's graduation.

Ran on Ft Gordon.  They have a huge 3 mile packed dirt track.  It's a huge oval that runs the perimeter of the parade field.  I ran most of it, and headed off to run a big hill I'd seen the last time I was there.  It's actually a ravine, so it goes way down, then way up.  Turned around at the top and did the whole thing again on my way back to the track, where I finished the loop and headed up to the hotel.

Made it out before the heat of the day- always a bonus.  Did a few miles walking around Augusta.  Got my pix taken with the James Brown statue.  Jump back & kiss myself in the Hot Tub!! (It was humid enough & hot enough that we could have actually been IN a hot tub based on the amount of sweat dripping off of me).

Up & out early, running with the soldiers on base.  Headed to the track.  Just did one loop and headed back.  I was happy every time I passed a group running in formation.  Yeah, they were probably the injured groups, but hey, I passed someone!!

Found out my ipod was un-fixable, but the apple store in Augusta was very helpful and instead of making me buy another  $300 ipod, they sold me the same version I had for $100.  I was okay with that.  Now I just have to put all my stuff back onto the ipod.  First things first, my "Stuff you should know" podcasts.  Itunes can wait!

Graduation was today- glad to have the buccaneer back on board for a while.

Took the day off yesterday.  Did yardwork and housework and then ate myself silly at dinner and took a 2 mile walk around the hood to try and quiet the stomach monster I had created.

Went for a run today while MR rode along.  It was overcast most of the time, which helped keep it from getting crazy hot.

Not many treasures, but plenty of cows & horses today.  Some days the cows will run along with me.  Not today- they're probably conserving their energy for following the shade across the pasture.
