With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams...

I spent most of the day in the car, but I was finally able to get out around 8 pm for a quick run.  I actually ran slowly, but it was a good run.  If it wasn't for the onslaught of flying ants and darkness, I could have run a few more miles.

One benefit of running so late is that it's cooler.  It was actually pleasant.  I just don't like the idea of waiting so late in the day to get a run in.  Too many distractions and ways to talk myself into something other than exercise.  Like the Samoas Ice Cream in my freezer.

Beautiful clouds in the east on my run.  The setting sun eventually turned them a brilliant red.

Pioneer day with Wyatt.  The run was supposed to be longer, but a puppy decided to follow her home.  Eventually, we resorted to walking so the dog wouldn't get hurt by a car driving by. 

Cute black puppy, but neither of us are interested in adopting it.  Hopefully a nice family will adopt him from the pound.

Missed running in SLC with my sisters today. 

Another beautiful evening run.  I took a photo, but my ipod seems to hate me and will not work anymore.  I am having withdrawals.   It's almost embarrassing. 

The run was amazing until the last half mile when the flying ants decided to fly into my face and get stuck in my sweat.  So nasty.

Nice morning run, not too humid or hot.  Got some yardwork done too.  And I learned about coffins before my ipod broke & stopped working.  Almost ironic.

Sometimes a delayed flight arrival can be a good thing.  I managed to sleep in and get in my run before my Mom arrived.  Someone decided to have a heart attack on the airplane and it set her back a few hours.  Silver linings, people.

I had a nice run while MR rode his bike along & was my waterboy.  He found an amazing treasure- a minion from Despicable Me.  I'd post a photo, but ipod is still broken.  Nothing to listen to on my run either, so MR would sing out the lyrics to the songs on his ipod as we went along.  Good times.

Now I am awake at 12:40 am because some idiots in a trailer just outside our neighborhood are having some kind of yelling competition.  Stereotypes are often based on reality.  Trailer trash is a stereotype, isn't it?  And yes, I lived in a trailer for a while 19 years ago.  Ask RAD if you don't believe me- she's got some good memories.  I'll bet bye-wing does too if they're not repressed too far down.

I recall prostitutes, drug deals, and a very sweet old woman without any teeth.
