Waited for some daylight before heading out, so I didn't have to wear my headlamp. It was more humid than hot, but after a mile I was warm and the humidity was icky. I took a stretch break at mile 2 and headed back home. Went for the overpass run today. That one stinky little overpass kicks my trash. Saw something terribly dead and squished, but could not identify. So instead I have this to share:  It really wasn't as dark outside as it looks, just the angle makes it look that way. In front of me was a corn field. The corn stalks are all brown and dried up, but there is pretty purple morning glory growing among the stalks. We've had a bunch of butterflies around here lately too. Lots of little yellow and orange ones.
