I can hear the music playing..."another one bites the dust."

I'm letting my hip try and heal. I still feel it a little now and then. I don't think sitting on it all day helps at all. But what do I know?

Went to an early celebration breakfast after a early trip to walmart for a bunch of candy and some flowers.

Hopefully the run tomorrow will go well. I don't really know how my hip will feel, but I've certainly rested it the last 3 days. Hoping for the best. The weather forecast says 50's and no rain. It's going to be better than last year's 31 degrees.

When you talked about biting the dust, I thought maybe you had called off tomorrow's race, but it looks like you're just resting today and going ahead tomorrow, so I don't think you've bitten the dust. You're just taking it easy, which is smart.

So how'd the race go? I was too self-centered and excited about the news to remember this morning when we chatted! I hope the hip felt good! Can't wait to read the details.

I've been bad about blogging the last week. Just now reading about the hip. Hope it cooperated for your race today. Can't wait to read about it!

RAD, what news are you excited about?

From RAD on Sun, Nov 22, 2009 at 20:06:26 from 76.27.12.70

news from our cousin about his family. We got it on Friday, so it was a nice day to get GOOD news!

it's late, so I'll put the full race info in on Monday. But the 1/2 marathon run was fun, and I had no troubles from any of my little aches & pains. Best of all, great company. I haven't seen Katie in almost 2 years, and it was lovely to visit with her for a few hours again.

Glad it was good! Hope you enjoy your last 'free morning' tomorrow! :)
