Every intention of running 6 miles.  Didn't intend on hot hot humid weather slowing me down.

Started out with MR.  After 1.4 mile of running, we had to walk/run and decided to just head home so he could get on the bike.  His calf is still bothering him.

Got home, got ice water in the water bottle and tried to head out for the next 4.  Ran a mile, had to take a walk break to try and cool off. Repeat.  After I ran 4.1 miles, I just decided it wasn't worth making myself sick to keep running.  I walked another mile plus, then jogged home making my total 4.7 miles running and probably around 2 miles of walking.

When I got home, we did a couple hours of yard work and called it quits.  It took me a couple more hours until I didn't feel sick from overheating.  I wasn't expecting July heat & humidity in September.

QP, it seems if you don't run in the darn sometimes, just too darn humid to run sometimes. East coast running is tough with the humidity and ice storms in the winter, why in the heck do people like the east coast. Good workout given the conditions.

MR shoulda tied a scarf around his calf.

Gotta watch that humidity. You were smart to listen to your body.

I've had some similar runs recently but I'm sure its worse out there. Nasty.
