woke up earlier, and it was still dark.  I refuse to run in the dark when I don't have to.  So I ate breakfast and got some things done around the house until it was light outside.  By mile 1.5, I'd turned east and saw the sun coming up above the trees and housetops.  It was beautiful...the bright orange color of orange-juice!

It was cool enough too.  Started with a light jacket on, and by mile 3 took it off & enjoyed the morning run.  The wisteria is in full bloom everywhere now too.  It's eye candy for me to see all the beautiful flowers and trees.  The pear tree blossoms are almost all gone by now & replaced with leaves.  When the wind blows, the remaining blossoms blow and it looks like snow.

Sorry to all of you out west who have real snow.

Saturday morning we had a storm blowing in so it was super windy. The blossoms were blowing everywhere and it seriously looked like snow. The road was covered in a thicker layer of "blossom snow" than we had of real snow all year. It was really pretty but kinda scary too... attack of the blossoms!

blossoms, leaves, really?

We don't have the snow here that they've got in Utah, but we don't have blossoms or leaves yet.

I'm going to have to go read about your Saturday run now.

QP - mornings with no worries and great mother day - precious running days. Glad you did not walk the plank, wondered where you have been.

SO jealous...my wisteria is still brown and looks dead :( Can't wait for blossoms and blooms and spring 'blossom snow'!

Nice miles and I'm glad you got to sleep in a bit - always a good thing!!
