started at 6:30.  no regrets there.  nice breeze in our faces most of the way, a lot of shade, very low humidity. 10:10 ap

beautiful day for a run.. honeysuckle growing crazy on the side of the road most of the way..what a nice olfactory treat!

went out for a yummy lunch at a local place in the town we ran to.  Still hard to believe we ran to Lumberton.  Pretty cool.

Mr played water boy on the bike...he did a great job.  Made us laugh along the way.

Saw 1 dead puffy cat, 1 dead not puffy at all cat, 1 dead bobcat, 1 dead fox, lots of UDO (unidentifiable dead objects), 2 dead snakes - one cottonmouth and one w/o his skin...hard to tell what he was other than big.   And...we saw the house with big objects up on poles in the front yard.... a car, a plane, and a life-sized trike.  Mounted on the front of the trike was a huge troll head....Just when I thought I'd seen everything.

Happy Mothers Day to everyone on Sunday!

Congratulations on a 20 miler! It sounds like your weather was much more conducive to running than it has been recently.

And boy howdy, the sights you saw. That's crazy!

lol - oh dear, I'm not sure I could keep count of all that carnage! Glad you had water boy around to entertain...maybe I can send him a coon cap so he can camouflage next time! Good idea to eat in the town you run to. It's a built in treat!!

Happy Mother's day tomorrow - I hope you don't have to learn anything the hard way tomorrow :)

Great job on a 20 miles run! That is a big accomplishment. So many sights to see and keep you entertained along the way sounds like an exciting run! I am glad you enjoyed a good lunch afterward.

Brent, although I'm totally flattered and I'd love to be the beautiful blonde with horses and an awesome bike, It's just me...the "Q" P.

I'm glad your crystal ball has faith in me. Mine is cloudy, but I think we might try that distance soon since Saturday went so well.

I think we will try and bring the camera along on our longer Saturday runs. I could make a coffeetable book out of them....images along a sweaty road....

QP - you are beautiful in every way, with Christine, blond is way over rated.
