shred then a 2 mile easy/recovery at a 10:23 pace

used my extra time this morning to get in a longer morning nap.  it was wonderful.

got my SHRU in.  Can I make it on the bike this afternoon to finish up a shrub, or will it turn into a shrug (Got other stuff to do)?  Stay tuned...

SHred RUn Bike...a SHRUB :)

Nice job on the longer nap, 'rest' days with longer sleeping are heavenly! Good luck completing the SHURB!

OK QP - count those cross training miles on the bike, 12 minutes good effort biking equals one cross training mile. Nice work, add swimming, call it a wetshrub.

QP - do you think the biking is helping with your running?

KP-RAD explained it perfectly

RAD- thanks for the good luck wishes. It's 5:45 and I just got home & don't really want to do anything, but I do want to say I shrubbed today. I should do a cheater bike ride around the block just to say I did it.

Brent- I can't say I see a direct benefit to my running from the bike rides, but I'm sure it helps with strength and builds some muscles that might be missed by running only.

I'd be a poor pirate if I didn't get a wet shrub in someday.
