finally got to catch up on the yardwork I've been putting off every other Saturday. Weeding and pruning..that kind of stuff. Lots of bending and stretching. So I'll call it a recovery workout :-)
Can't figure out for sure why my hostas are disappearing. I saw a rabbit in the front yard late last night and suspected it was him, but when I went to water them today, one of the plants was there rootless and there was a mole hole next to it. So maybe it's the stinking moles. Maybe it's both. I now have 2 of 9 hostas left in the yard. I've got another 2 rootless plants in water cups trying to get them to re-grow roots. Then I'll have to figure out where to plant them so the varmints leave them alone! |
