Recovery run.  Legs were still tired, so was my head.  Avg pace was 10:22.  I kept all miles above 10 today.  I want them to recover for a longer run tomorrow.  I think we'll be running the tri-county run...should be around 17 miles.   Looking forward to a few hours out in the country.

Our forecast here for Sunday is a high of 90.  Yikes...that kind of heat is too much too soon.

You and I had nearly the same run this morning. I'm resting up for tomorrow too. But we don't have the kind of heat here that you're talking about. They commented on the news the other night about our temperatures being well below average for this time of year.

As much as I dislike the cold, it's easier to plow through a run that's freezing than one in the humid heat.

I am not looking forward to the heat either. I plan to get my "long" run for the week (a short run for y'all) out of the way tonight rather than early tomorrow morning. The heat and humidity is going to suck.
