Ran 2.7, then did bleachers & a loop on the track, then ran back to the car, but had a detour on the way back. We'd run through a construction site on the way to the track (no one was there) but on the way back, the bulldozers were all moving about, so we had to take a detour through the golf course & across a bit of wilderness to get back to the trail. The greens on the golf course are nice to run on :-)
A couple of hours later at home, we went for a bike ride to deliver some treats to Wyatt Earp, who is recovering from a perforated ear drum & ear infection. The start of her summer break hasn't been as awesome as mine. Total bike ride was just under 14 miles. I was so excited when I had a sub 5 pace on my mile...even if it was just on the bike! |
