Lots to do this morning.  Had time for 4 miles, and that was it.  Maybe I'll try to get a shred in after work.

Overall pace: 9:24 (I think this is exactly one minute/mile slower than yesterday's hurry up and run 3 miles).  It was just starting to rain lightly when I was running my last mile.  45 minutes later, it was pouring.  I'm glad I got out early.  It's going to be another wet week-end around here.  I'm glad it's my easy week with only 8 miles on Saturday.

I have a friend in MD who is expecing her second week-end of snow and ice.  Last week-end she had to do 18 on the treadmill, and this week end looks like 20...I would go crazy!!  It would be a mutiny at the gym.  I'd have to take over and make sure none of the TVs were playing Hannah Montana or Suite Life of Zach and Cody...because that's what is always on at the MD gym on Saturday morning.

20 miles indoor would be awful. I hope your friend is able to run outside. Good job finding time for a run on a busy morning. Have a great weekend!

One time last Spring I had a 20 miler scheduled on a Saturday and it was way too snowy. I didn't think I could handle 20 miles on a treadmill, physically or emotionally. So I ran it on an indoor track. 240 laps.

Congratulations on beating the rain this morning.

I'm not sure 240 laps is better than 3.5 hrs on a treadmill.....the crazy things we do!

yuck, yuck, yuck! Oh, and the last time I went to my gym on Saturday AM that is what I had to watch so I can empathize with the TV situation. It was painful!!

Glad you got the 4 in and I hope the 8 tomorrow isn't too drenched and cold - or indoors!

QP - East coast got blasted - how does Hana spell her real name? While running on Milly or Milie - pound it out on her - her music, yuk, we need more boy bands? Just not my thing, bring back CCR, Pat Benetar, etc.

Nice you got a run in -
