Let's have a little picture story problem to start off the week:

What happens when you take one pair of running shoes.....

And you add one pair of wire clippers?

You get the treasure of the week!

This was the one and only reason I woke up this morning and got out on the road....the hopes that it would still be there waiting for me.  I was worried for a few seconds that it was gone, but a few more steps down the road, and there it was!  Like El Dorado shining in the morning light.

After work, zumba started a little late, so I ran a couple miles on the treadmill, then went down for zumba, and finished up with a mile or so of speed work.

I was hungry for dinner today!  I think I'll listen to a little guitar music before I head off to sleep :-)

LOVE your picture story! What's with the holes in the running shoes? Did the clippers do that? Are you the guitar player? so much mystery in the story! :)

Smooth- thank you! I wore that hole in my shoe on a training run I did on some trails. It happens in my Brooks shoes frequently, and usually when I am running on trails. I guess my toes like to poke up when I run on trails. Strange, isn't it?

The guitar story is a carry-over from Saturday's run. No one on my ship plays guitar- I wish someone did though! Then we could all sit around and drink while singing pirate songs on rainy days.

LOVE the story :) Glad you got to shake it in zumba! We all need some reason to get out the door in the morning.

Glad to see I'm not the only whose toes come through the top of their shoes :) Another wonderful treasure to add to your chest.
