I don't know what the official name for this kind of run is, if one even exists.  I think I'll call it "I was too tired to wake up earlier, so I decided to run fewer miles at a faster pace."

I wanted to keep my miles 1 and 3 under a 9 mm, and I wanted mile 2 to be under 8 mm.  I was able to meet my goals, so I was happy.  I believe the pace for those 3 miles overall was 8:17.

I ran after the 3 miles was over to make it 30 minutes, but I turned off my garmin and just went slowly to cool down.  It was about 5 1/2 minutes, so I put it down for 1/2 a mile.

Had to do some chauffering around of my #1 buckaneer this morning, and by the time I got home, I'd lost most of my motivation to do much else.  I did some arm weights and bicycle crunches.  I'm considering a bike ride later on.  I'm just trying to figure out where I'll go.  It's more enjoyable when I've got a destination in mind.

First, I think I'll watch a movie with Buckaneer #2.  I got Valentine's Day at redbox last night.  Hope it's good.  If not, it's only a  dollar!  I guess I'll get the popcorn out :-)

Ah, vacation. How would it be?

I like those kind of runs, no matter WHAT the name :) Nice job on keeping the paces where you wanted them, and an AP of 8:17 - NICE!!

Enjoy the movie, I liked it, but it wasn't a favorite. A bike ride would be great! I only have a few more months until little D can sit up and go in the baby seat. Then I'll get to do one too.

I hated that movie. Two words. Ashton Kutcher.

rode my bike to Walmart to return the redbox rental. The movie was good. Little Buccaneer and I enjoyed it. Especially the last line..."those three words everyone is dying to hear....let's get -----" well, I guess since this is a family friendly website, I'll just leave it at that. Little one and I laughed at how silly it was. We were both expecting "I love

Burt- Kutcher's not that bad, is he? Not like Rob Schnieder bad.

The bike ride was a little nerve racking when I had to ride on the main street with the cars. I'm not comfortable riding in traffic and turning left with traffic. I don't think the drivers around here are comfortable with it either. I tried sticking to back roads and dirt paths on the sides of the roads. evidently shoulders on roads and sidewalks haven't been invented down here yet.

I wore my garmin, and it said total time was 46:47 and 9.17 miles. I missed one part of the ride from the intersection in front of the walmart through the parking lot to the front doors. Not enough distance to make any difference.

the ride up (without the parking lot) was 23:03 and 4.4 miles. the ride back was 4.77 miles and 23:44. I think my avg was 11.8 mph. There were some tough inclines and one killer hill.

It was a good ride, but I'm not so sure about the traffic part of it. I may just stick to the country roads and avoid main street.

either way, I burned another 400 calories, so guess who'se eating some brownie bites tonight? THIS GUY!

Ha Ha! I just read my last entry. It says..."I love Burt"

I'm giggling to myself. It's supposed to say, "I love you."

Sorry Burt.

You love me? Ah, how sweet. I love you, too.
