I'd say it was a recovery run, but there's not much to recover from....so I'll just call it an easy effort run.  I tried to keep my paces slower, which seemed to be almost as much work as trying to keep them faster.

I did pretty good staying above a 9:45, except for a couple of miles when my mind wandered off and I got thinking about things that were irritating me...and then I unintentionally ran faster.

Wow, the moon was beautiful and bright today...and it stuck around a little longer.  That and the sun coming up a little sooner really "brightened" my day.

avg pace 9:49

I remember that I used to have to intentionally run slowly. Now it comes more naturally.

You're doing a great job with the early mornings. I got out too late this morning and missed the moon.

Great job! I too wish I had to try and run slow. I just try to keep going. I hope you have a great day today!

Is it super cold there? I woke up to 40 degree temps today! After being in the mid-80's for a few weeks, my body is confused. I had planned to run this morning but couldn't get out of the nice warm bed when my alarm went off... Maybe later?!?!?

Carolyn & Michelle- thanks for the nice remarks. It's funny how some days the fastest I can go is the same speed as my slow days.

KP- It was colder this morning. I had to go home and grab a light jacket and my gloves after .2 miles.

Today when I started it was 52 degrees, and when I ended it was 49 degrees. Yesterday was 56-54 degrees, but felt warmer...I was wearing long sleeves then too.

Our high yesterday was 79 - today is 62. The weather man said tomorrow morning it will be in the high 30's...and that's going to be tough. I guess I'll drag out my running tights again.

Nice run and keeping it consistent to what you wanted! I do have to laugh though, when I ran SLC 1/2 I was SO excited that it was going to be 47 at the start time! Shorts and a t-shirt for me :) We're still waiting for 80's and with the snow today, I think it will be a bit longer now too....
