Going to do a couple of easier weeks.  Really didn't feel like getting out of bed today, but I was glad I did.  Same old Monday story....

There is a good Mutts comic strip today in the newspapers.  It's title is:  I Hate Mondays Comix    By Sour Puss.   If you see it, you'll know how I feel.

Progressive Run.  Started at an 11:00 pace then 9:33, 9:17, 8:32, 7:45 (the last .62).   I felt like I was running so fast there at the end, and I wondered how people can run that fast (and faster) for 26 miles.  It just blows my mind.

Things felt pretty good, but I could tell stuff was still kind of recovering from Saturday's run.  That and all the good yummy treats I ate yesterday.

Hi Quiet! I had to stop by because I Love Pirates..haha. I always joke that I am a pirate...Monday mornings are always hard for me too...They make me wonder if I Need to seek counseling for my woes, but then after a few hours I feel back to normal again..haha. Good job getting up and out already, As usual I'm still in PJ's, but then I usually wear them as an outfit anyhow. :P

Nice work getting up for the miles. I always feel good after a run, but it's convincing myself to get out of bed that is the hard part!

I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday, and that you loved those yummy treats as much as I loved mine :) Except for the rancid ice cream I got at your mother's yesterday...she can be yours when I'm not happy with her :)

yeah...it was BAD!! Seriously left an 'alcohol' after taste for the rest of the night. Craig couldn't figure out what it was, but I knew!! Really?!? Maybe next time I'll offer to bring the ice cream...

hmmmm....It may have just been left over from the wedding 2 years ago - not the funeral 3 years ago. All I know is that I am in no mood to eat Vanilla Bean ice cream now for another good 3 years! Maybe any ice cream for at least a few days...

Glad Lucy doesn't have issues with coprophagy, I'd hate to waste good pineapple on a dog :)

oh sweet, sweet, KP...it's not mother's day anymore. Besides, I DID eat it didn't I?? I could've told her then and there how horrible it was and that I couldn't believe she was trying poisoning me and my family and thrown it away! But, I was nice and ate it up like a good grateful daughter should :) Oh, and it WAS that bad!!! If you come to visit this summer for the RHPC run I'll take you to meet my mom and I'm sure she'll still have some left if you'd like to try it :) :) :)

I am just laughing and laughing. KP, it really is that bad. We love our mother, but fresh food is not her forte'.

I'd post the pix of the 30 year old home canned chicken we finally got permission to dump 4 years ago, but this is a "family friendly" web site and not a horror movie.

The motto at our house was "It's probably still good." No Joke.
