I do think I'm getting better, but it's slow going.  I want to reserve my energy for getting better and to try and run our mock-athon.  We've pushed it back to Monday for now.

rain forecast for all day Saturday anyway, so it's a good move weather wise too.

9 more early mornings for me....ahhhhh almost there

taper/cut off...I've wondered if it's just okay to do nothing for 4 days before a run. I think since I'm sick it's better to do nothing than wear myself out and take longer to get better.

Sure wish someone would bake me a pie. I'm sure that would help.

It's handy that Monday is a holiday so that you can move your mock-athon to then. I think that's a good decision.

It seems like you should wear moccasins for a mock-athon.

ha! well, i don't have the best reputation of being a "good" cook. i can typically follow a recipie, but i've been known to burn a few things before too (chilli, potato soup). i'll tell ya what... i'll give your mom a call and tell her to send you some of her special ice cream overnight to make you feel better :)

if i come up and do a marathon with y'all (going to read rach's email next...) then i'll make you some kind of treat! i can't promise more than break-n-bake chocolate chip cookies though ;)

KP - from what I've been reading on FB you don't just burn the food :) (lol) Maybe we can set you up a kitchen in the back yard...with a hose close by...

I'm glad it's getting better - even just bit by bit AND that you've got until Monday, I think you'll fare much better then!
