3 mile run. 10:04, 9:07, 8:40 paces.

I needed to run more than I needed to rest today.

Quote of the day from runner's world.com  It's by Dagny Scott, but I thought it did a good job explaining how I felt too:

"I ran to be free; I ran to avoid pain; I ran to feel pain; I ran out of love and hate and anger and joy."

I hear ya. Yesterday when I commented to you about taking a break from running, the thought was in my mind that maybe a run would do more for your mental health than a rest would.

I get those Runner's World daily quotes too.

I am glad you were able to get a run in. I really like that quote. During my run today I was think how I was loving and hating it both at the same time. It is a good outlet for all sorts of emotions.

QP - quotes make you think - just run forest. Clearing of the mind comes with grind, grit or floating on air - each running day comes with no warning of what is to bring, without Cass or her papas.
