Fun run with Terri!  So awesome to be back on the road with my running buddy.  Had a great visit- just too bad it was so short.

We took our time on the run, enjoyed the moment, laughed and sweat like crazy (it was so humid)!

MR ran too.  He took off after mile one, ready to run tough, but around mile 7, his calf cramped up.  It could have been due to lack of training, or maybe it had something to do with the tequila at mile 5?   It was right before the miniature horse.  Some kind-hearted folks passing out tequila and corona.

We caught up with him right after mile 12.  He walked most of the last mile trying to keep the cramp at bay.

It was fun to run without the stress of time, but I think I may try and train for a flat 1/2 PR this fall.

Tequila? Really?

Congrats on a fun race with a fun running buddy. Good times.

HA! That makes me laugh. A screwdriver seemed to help Teena PR at Park City last year :) So, it must have been the lack of training.

Glad you had a wonderful run and a great weekend. Lots of fun times and BIG desserts! 1/2 PR @ Outerbanks? Maybe I'll have to join you :)

Mr. is going to join the hash harriers hey? Sounds like a fun race. I want to see the rest of the victory dance, with the black eyed peas. You so deserve a fun race. Dancing like crazy, hey. Keep up the fun.

hey, I was offered greem beer at Boston by many, offered bear by the Hash Harriers at Disney World and Honolulu marathons. Who in the heck could drink beer and run? Mr. has a tough constitution.

Carolyn- yes, really. The man runs to the beat of a different drummer.

RAD- I'm thinking maybe VA beach in September. I could use a pacer!!

Burt- You have no idea! Check out the photo I finally got up on this post!

Brent- MR always talks about hash runs & how he wants to do them, he's just too cheap to pay for the beer. I'd go for the entertainment.
